Cittaslow and the University of Parma Present: Seminars on Sustainability and Food Policies

Building on the success of their previous collaboration, Cittaslow and the University of Parma have announced their second cycle of seminars. Focused on the overarching themes of "How to build the future" and the "Food For Future" initiative, this new series will explore the critical intersection of local communities, agriculture, and modern challenges.
The seminars are officially titled "Cittaslow between sustainability and food policies". The events are proudly supported by the University's Department of Law, Political and International Studies , which has been recognized as a Department of Excellence for 2023-2027.

The cycle will travel across various Italian towns, bringing academic expertise directly to local communities. The schedule is as follows:

Topic: Short supply chains and agri-food contracts: protections and opportunities for small producers in Cittaslow territories and inland areas

Concluding Event
The seminar cycle will officially conclude with a comprehensive roundtable discussion. This final event will be hosted at the University of Parma on April 29, 2026.
These events are organized in close collaboration with the Master's Degree program in "Global Food Law: Sustainability Challenges and Innovation", highlighting the academic rigor and forward-thinking nature of the discussions.
