Korean Cittaslow Delegation Visits Positano to Foster International Cooperation Following the 2026 Assembly

Following the 2026 Cittaslow International Assembly, a 32-member delegation from South Korea embarked on a special field trip to Positano, Italy, to experience firsthand the best practices of the slow living movement. The group, which included officials from various Korean Cittaslow member cities along with key representatives from the Cittaslow Corea Network—such as Coordinator Bon Son and Secretary General Jang Hee Jung—was warmly welcomed by Positano's newly appointed Mayor, Gabriella Guida.

During their visit, the delegation enjoyed a guided tour of the local City Hall, where they gained valuable insights into Positano’s rich historical background and civic heritage. Beyond the cultural exchange, the gathering provided an excellent platform for meaningful dialogue. The Korean delegation and their Italian hosts engaged in fruitful discussions about strengthening international coordination and developing shared policies designed to foster deeper bonds between member cities worldwide.

In a beautiful display of cross-cultural friendship, the Korean delegation presented Mayor Guida and the official reception with unique local specialties from their respective hometowns, expressing their gratitude for Positano's heartwarming hospitality. To further cement the bond and deepen their future relationship, Coordinator Bon Son gifted the Mayor with special publications and brochures introducing Korea's Cittaslow cities.
