🇰🇷 2026 Annual Assembly of Corea Cittaslow Mayors’ Council

With the Cittaslow Corea Network and mayors from Corean Cittaslow member cities, the <Assembly of Corean Cittaslow Mayors’ Council> has been held once a year. This annual assembly is to promote mutual exchange and cooperation between cittaslow member cities and cittaslow's philosophy and objectives come into reality, and Corean cittaslow mayors gather to deliberate and decide on major agendas of cittaslow and discuss pending issues of cittaslows in Corea.

On March 23, the Annual Assembly of Corea Cittaslow Mayors’ Council was held at the Taean Thalasso theraphy Center in Cittaslow Taean. Over 60 people including Mayor Chulwon Jung(cittaslow Damyang), Mayor Ka Se-ro(cittaslow Taean), other deputy mayors and public servant attended in here. This annual assembly was started from congratulatory speech & new year message by Bon Son, coordinator of the Cittaslow Corea Network and then, Hee-jung Jang, secretary general of Cittaslow Corea Network, reported significant issues and shared major projects for this year. Also, the proposed major agendas for this year were approved, in particular, the 9th Presidential Group for Corea Cittaslow Mayors’ Council was organized through election and the result is as follows: Cittalow Damyang as president city, Cittaslow Yesan as vice-president city, and Cittaslow Jangheung as the secretary-general city.
