đ CITTASLOW TĂRKIYE AND TRNC NETWORKS MEET IN NORTHERN CYPRUS FOR A SHARED FUTURE đ
Between September 17 and 20, 2026, the Cittaslow networks of TĂźrkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) came together in Northern Cyprus to strengthen their collaboration, focusing on the preservation of local values, sustainable development, and quality of life.
đ¤ Accompanied by BĂźĹra Ăzdemir (Vice President of Cittaslow International and Coordinator for Cittaslow TĂźrkiye), mayors and delegates spent three days exploring best practices and successful projects across the YeniboÄaziçi, Geçitkale, TatlÄąsu, and Mehmetçik regions.
The official Cooperation Development Meeting, held on Saturday, September 19, in Mehmetçik-Bßyßkkonuk, provided the perfect opportunity to discuss crucial themes for our communities:
