Round table in collaboration with Cittaslow International and the Master's Degree 'Global Food Law: Sustainability Challenges and Innovation'
On Monday 14 April at 2:30 pm at the Biblioteca storica di Diritto Pubblico in via Università, 12, the round table entitled Cittaslow trasostenibilita e politiche del cibo will take place.
The meeting concludes a series of seminars held in some cities of the Cittaslow International network in Italy and Europe. The seminars touched on various topics in a multidisciplinary perspective, ranging from the Right to Food to Food Sustainability, from Critical Consumption to Labor Protection.
The introduction is entrusted to: Prof. Lucia Scaffardi, scientific director of the Food for Future project of the Department of Law, Political and International Studies - Department of Excellence (2023-2027), Mauro Migliorini, president of Cittaslow International, Pier Giorgio Oliveti, general secretary of Cittaslow International and Prof. Giacomo Degli Antoni, member of the steering committee of the Food for Future project.
Following, the professors Fabio Corigliano, Giulia Formici, Marco Inglese, Fabio Pantano, Giacomo Degli Antoni and Vincenza Pellegrino will analyze the experiences gained in the seminars, exploring the best practices that have emerged from the territory also from the perspective of local policies, to better address the future challenges of a more equitable and resilient system from a social, economic and food point of view.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Master's Degree course 'Global Food Law: Sustainability Challenges and Innovation'.
