The 6th Cittaslow Taiwan Alliance Annual Conference was held in September 2025 in Dongyin, Lienchiang—the first time on an outlying island. Dongyin, Taiwan’s seventh Cittaslow and the first certified island township, showcased its maritime heritage, sustainability, and community life.
Delegates from all member towns joined forums, field visits, and workshops on cultural preservation and environmental action. International guests from Malaysia and Nanhua University enriched the dialogue. The event strengthened Taiwan’s Cittaslow development and set the stage for the 2026 conference in Majia, Pingtung.
