Castiglione Olona: “Evoluzioni” Connects Heritage and the Future
From 2 to 4 October 2026, Palazzo Branda Castiglioni will host three days of music, museum innovation and photography.
The Municipality of Castiglione Olona presents “Evoluzioni: Uno sguardo al domani tra storia e futuro”, a cultural programme celebrating local heritage and new ways of experiencing it.
The programme opens with concerts by young musicians from the “Tito Nicòra” Academy of Music and Art, celebrating its 15th anniversary. Performances take place on Friday 2 October at 9 p.m. and Saturday 3 October at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Admission is free, with reservations required.
On Saturday, the Branda Castiglioni Civic Museum unveils its new inclusive, multimedia educational itinerary, featuring interactive stations and renewed visitor facilities. The museum will remain open until 6 p.m., with a reduced admission price of €3 for all visitors.
On Sunday 4 October at 4 p.m., the photography exhibition “Fiume Olona: Geografie di un territorio da Varese a Milano”, curated by the Italian Photographic Archive (AFI), opens with a presentation, book launch and aperitif. The exhibition runs until 1 November 2026.
