Is Trading Still Profitable After the 4.4 Update?
I’ve always enjoyed trading in Star Citizen, but after the 4.4 update, I’m not sure if it’s still worth doing. Prices seem different, routes feel less predictable, and I’m worried about investing everything into one shipment and losing it. Is trading still a good way to earn aUEC early on, or should I switch to something else like missions or mining? I don’t have a big cargo ship yet, so I’m limited in how much I can carry. Any updated advice on good starter routes or ways to build up enough credits to trade safely would help a lot.

Trading can still be great, but it’s definitely slower if you don’t have the starting cash. If you want to trade properly, you need aUEC to invest. The easiest shortcut is to buy cheap star citizen money. That way you can immediately start running more profitable cargo loads instead of tiny ones. MMOPIXEL is fast, secure, and delivery only takes a few minutes. Once you’ve got a decent balance, you can move into larger shipments and try routes with higher profit margins. Trading shines when you have enough credits to take risks, so boosting your aUEC early saves you from slow progress.
