“From Story… to Story”: Fairy Tales Come Alive in Castiglione Olona

About the event
By popular demand from children and parents who have enjoyed past editions, “From Story… to Story” returns on Sunday, August 31, 2025, bringing new fairy tales, storytellers, and magical pipers to the Renaissance village of Castiglione Olona (VA).
Organized by the local association ARTE DIEM, the event has become a much-loved tradition for families from the areas of Varesotto, Alto Milanese, and Ticinese. Visitors are invited to step into the enchanting atmosphere of Castiglione Olona’s historic center, where groups will be guided by “magical pipers” on an itinerant journey from tale to tale, discovering the courtyards and hidden corners of this timeless village.
Now in its 18th edition, the event will gather participants in the central Piazza Garibaldi starting at 4:00 p.m., with the storytelling route beginning at 4:30 p.m. As always, the afternoon will end with the traditional snack generously offered by L’Angolo del Pane—a sweet moment to share…
