‘The Power Up Project for entire Nation’ that encourages people visit resort places for rural experiences in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province

In order to promote tourism in rural areas and induce travel demand from urban residents, the Gyeongsangbuk-do Province decided to provide free or discount expenses about the number of 135 rural tourism facilities in the province. 

This discount event is aimed at medical staffs in Daegu city and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province who have worked hard to prevent and treat the spread of the COVID-19. Also, medical staffs in this area will be allowed to use rural tourism facilities free of charge for 3 months from 15th June to 15th September and all citizens get 50 percent discount for 5 months from 1st July to 30th November. 

In additions, if you take part in event about certification and reviews of the place you visited, you will get coupons that can use on-line shopping mall of special agricultural products. 

Especially, Cittaslow Cheongsong which is located in Gyeongsangbuk-do province offers tourism about leisure and resort for people who are medical family related to COVID-19. It is to give medical staff dedicated to treating patients a chance to heal their bodies and minds. Cittaslow Cheongsong is a traditional village with beautiful natural scenery and people can feel rural atmosphere at Deokcheon village in Cheongsong.
