Asia  Cittaslow  Forum  (ACF)

PURPOSES

  1. Asia’s    Cittaslow    member    towns    exchange    mutual    concern    and common  interest  to  implement  the  Cittaslow  philosophy.
     
  2. Asia’s   Cittaslow   member    towns   share   mutual   benefits   geographic proximity.

MEMBER COUNTRIES

  1. Cittaslow  International  member   towns  of  Corea,  China,  Taiwan,  and Japan.
     
  2. Asian  countries  that  want  to  join  the  Cittaslow  International.

PARTICIPANTS

  1. Mr. Pier  Giorgio  Oliveti,  Secretary  General  of  Cittaslow  International
  2. Cittaslow  member  towns  in  Asian  countries
  3. Candidate  towns  in  Asian  countries
  4. Residents  representatives  of  Cittaslow  members  towns

RESULTS

Representatives   from   Cittaslow   member    towns   in   Corea,   China,   and Taiwan   convened    in   Cittaslow   Jeonju,   Corea on   October    8,   2016, agreed   with   the   establishment   of  Asia  Cittaslow   Forum,  and   decided that  they  will  take  consents  from  member  towns  of  each  country

RESOLUTION  & DISCUSSION

The  first  ACF is  decided  to  be  held  in  Corea,  the  first  Asia  member country  and  proposer  of  the  forum  in  2017, China,  Taiwan  and  Japan take  turns  in  holding  the  forum.

  1. The  date  of  the  forum  is  in  mid  October  or  early  November  of 2017.
  2. The  theme  of  the  forum  includes  specific  local  practices.
  3. The  organization   framework   of  the   forum  will  be  discussed   in  the next  meeting.
  4. Representative    town    of   each    country    or    the    network    will    be
  5. designated    to    take    care    of   regional    liaison   business    for   good communication.
