Italian Cittaslow Network proposal for Cittaslow Sunday

The first international day of "slow good living", "Cittaslow Sunday", that will take place the 26 of September 2010, will be dedicated to the memory of Angelo Vassallo

Tommaso Sgueglia, the National Coordinator of Italian Cittaslow Network and Vice Mayor of Caiazzo(Caserta-Italy), expresses in the name of the entire  Coordinating Committee profound sorrow for the barbarous killing of the International Vice President and member of the National Coordinating Committee, Angelo Vassallo, Mayor of Pollica.

Today Cittaslow weeps for a true friend, an exemplary  administrator who has contributed so much to the development of the Cittaslow association in all the world.  A man who has incarnated the slow philosophy  for the realization of a "cleaner, better and fairer" future .

Angelo Vassallo, a man of Southern Italy, a model to imitate for the redemption of all the South.

The National Coordinator of Italian Cittaslow Network  proposes to dedicate to the memory of Angelo the first international day of "slow good living", "Cittaslow Sunday" that will take place the 26 of September 2010.

Angelo Vassallo will be a memory forever  alive in the heart of  each one of us and a spur to us to continue along the road together.
