Sonoma (USA) - "Back to the Land"

Sonoma

Join us on Sunday, March 4th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm for an intimate, community-oriented meal that celebrates and explores the possibilities of re-localizing our food system. Prepared by the chefs of Chez Panisse (Berkeley), the four-course meal will include produce from Green String Farm (Petaluma), grass-fed beef from Meadow Brook Ranch (Red Bluff), cheeses and dairy products from Vella Cheese Co. (Sonoma), and wines from Cline Cellars and Jaccuzzi Family Vineyards (Sonoma). To compliment the meal, local farmer Bob Cannard will speak on the joys and necessity of eating close to home.

Organized by interns of the Green String Institute, proceeds from the event will go toward furthering the mission of providing young people and our local community with the opportunity to experience sustainable agriculture and acquire the skills needed to return "back to the land."

Tickets are $125 per plate, and the evening will be limited to 60 guests. Please RSVP by purchasing a ticket at the Green String Farm Store, or calling us at (707)778-7500.
