Naramata seeks Dark Sky Designation

Recognizing the importance of our night skies, a NaramataSlow sub-committee is working towards getting an International Dark Sky designation. 

We had great feedback from the mobile observatory and telescopes set up in Manitou Park for Earth Day. 

A big shout out to Wendel, amateur astronomer who helped us calculate our current dark sky measurement, one piece of information needed in this process.
