The beekeeping farm was established in 1952 by Stanisław Kalejta and is now run by the family from generation to generation, and is currently run by Szymon Kalejta. From the very beginning, the beekeeping farm has been focused on a journey towards fertility. Currently, the beekeeping farm has about 200 bee hives in the widened hives in Warsaw.
In 2013, the Mazurian Apiary was admitted to the network of Culinary Heritage Warmia Mazury and Powiśle.
