Cittaslow Jubilee Week
Midden-Delfland is ten years of Cittaslow. A good reason for a jubilee week for residents, partners and everyone who cares about Cittaslow. From Saturday 9 to Sunday 17 June you can experience everything in Midden-Delfland. The program is entirely dedicated to our special Midden-Delfland and the inspiring ideas of Cittaslow. Below you see the program.
For example, you can make a unique cruise with a barge and horse and taste fair food on the Slow Food market. From the water or the quay at the corn mill De Korpershoek is the Friday of June 15th enjoy the premiere of the Cittaslow hymn, a piece of music specially composed for Cittaslow. This is followed by a Mill Concert. A nice musical taster of the Midden-Delfland Days with the theme 'Midden-Delfland, there's music in it!' During Schippop, children transform recyclable materials into artworks. And a traveling theater tells 1,200 children at kindergartens, playgroups and primary schools in a funny way about Cittaslow.

Cittaslow. What is that really? An actor explains it on his journey past daycare, playgroups and primary schools.
Wednesday, June 13, 10.30-11.45 - Cittaslow café
Residents of Midden-Delfland have an eye for each other and their environment. As a volunteer, they are happy to commit themselves to society. Aad van Meurs has built up a volunteer career of fifty years. This yields many beautiful stories and anecdotes.

Thursday 14 June, 15.00-16.00 hrs - Lecture historical voyage
Historian Jacques Moerman talks about the Delft-Maassluis-Vlaardingen draft route. The barge is also called the Intercity of the Golden Age. In Central Delfland, many traces still remind us of the sailing history. After the lecture there is a drink.

Cittaslow council and supporters day
Cittaslow Experience day for all council members and certified Cittaslow supporters (entrepreneurs and organizations).
7 pm - Première Cittaslow Hymn
Premiere of the Cittaslow hymn at the corn mill De Korpershoek in Schipluiden. International composer Jacob de Haan conducts the performance himself.
8.30 - 9.30 pm - Mill concert
Concert in the open air at windmill De Korpershoek. Listen from the quay or in a boat. For a snack snack and juice you can go to Net Just Anders for a fee. Or reserve a spot on the tour boat (5 euro p.p., firstname.lastname@example.org).
Friday 15 and Saturday 16 June - Slow Food Market
Friday 14.00 - 21.00, Saturday 11.00 - 17.00
More than 20 stalls with good and fair snacks and drinks from Slow Food Netherlands at Levende Buitenplaats Hodenpijl.
Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 June - Midden-Delfland Dagen
Sailing with a barge
Unique trip with a barge across the Vlaardingervaart. The horse walks along the towpath along the towpath and pulls the boat. For more information about boarding places, sailing times and making reservations: www.middendelflanddagen.nl.
Rondje Maasland, 10.30 - 17.00
All bridges in Maasland and Gaag will open. You can take a boat trip with your sloop, small boat or canoe via the route Kwakelweg, Oostgaag, Zuidgaag, Molenweg, monumental village core Maasland and back again. The creep height is 1.04 meters.
