第1屆台灣慢城聯盟年會16日在屏東縣竹田鄉舉行，總統蔡英文電賀，期許形塑特色深度國民旅遊。 慢城（Cittaslow）是由義大利國際慢城組職所提倡的一種新的生活理念，必須符合5萬人口以下小鎮，符合7大面向、8大公約及72項指標，期待符合保護地球，回歸傳統生活文化的簡單生活。 (以上文字內容取自各大新聞）
