Meeting in Levanger

Nordic Network Cittaslow has been collected from 23 to 25 February 2010. 2 to 3 participants from each of the 5 Nordic Cittaslow municipalities (Falköping, Svendborg, Eidskog, Levanger and Sokndal) participated.

There have been meetings, exchange of experiences, knowledge transfer, guided tours and participation in various events in Levanger, and socializing.

The Nordic Network Cittaslow will in 2010 work on the following projects:

Local involvement. Each municipality is actively working for a local commitment to Cittaslow. This applies both in relation to politicians, management, business, culture, clubs / associations, businesses and private individuals.

Cultural and business exchanges. At larger events in the individual municipalities, invited representatives from other municipalities to participate. This can be compared to the culture, business, etc.

New members. Every municipality has in the course of 2010 the task of recruiting at least 1 new member to Cittaslow.

The next meeting of the Nordic network is added to Svendborg in Denmark in August 2010.
