Lefke (TRNC) - Jaffa Orange Festival 2016

The 7th Lefke Jaffa Orange Festival was helded on 2-3 April 2016 at historical town centre of Lefke. Lefke is the greenest corner of the island, surrounded with plenty amount of walnut and date trees. Furthermore, Jaffa oranges growing in Lefke are considered as the most delicious oranges of Cyprus. Local products were displayed and were on sale during the event organised by municipality of Lefke. Delivering an opening speech of Mr. Aziz Kaya underlined the importance of cittaslow, conservation of Cyprus culture and heritage for sustainable tourism and as well as importance of organic agriculture for the region's economy.
