Canada - Historical Cowichan Bay Village Walking Tours
Join the Cittaslow Cowichan Bay Society for an in-depth look at the history of Cowichan Bay. Your guide will lead you through the village while sharing information about the history of the First Nations people in the area as well as details of the early European settlers. You will learn about the prominent fishing and forestry industries and hear stories dating back to Cowichan Bay's days as a resort town. The walking tour is suitable for residents and visitors so please share this information with your friends.
Walking tours are scheduled for Tuesday, July 30 and Tuesday, August 27 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm and depart from Hecate Park. The tours are by donation.
