Zayed International Prize

Mathis Wackernagel has been awarded the prestigious Zayed International Prize for the Environment, to be awarded on March 14th. He's in good company - the other awardees this year are Lee Myung-bak, President of the Republic of Korea for his commitment to a green economy, Indian economist Sir Partha Dasgupta, and author and architect Najib Saab of Lebanon.

Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, will be presenting the awards.
