The Vice President of Cittaslow International, Dehyun Sohn gave a speech at the MaD (Make a Difference) 2013 at the Kwai Tsing Theatre in Hong Kong from January 25 to 27, 2013.
Organized by the Honk Kong Institute of Contemporary Culture, this forum attracted over 1,200 young Asians and international changemakers around conferences and activities aiming to raise awareness and inspire actions towards environmental and social impact. Through this annual event and continuous actions, it seeks to empower youngsters to accomplish global change as a creative generation.
With another two speakers, Prof. Sohn gave a talk in the session of "Rethinking Cities", that the forum presented four polylogues of "Power of Knowledge", "Good Life for All", and "Change the Game". Under the title of "Slowing Down Amidst Development Frenzy", Prof. Sohn told the audience "the Cittaslow concept for young generations".
